My name is Jamie Sutherland, a photographer born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. I specialise in photojournalism and travel photography, with a passion for capturing real moments and stories from around the world. My work has taken me to diverse locations including Hanoi, Vietnam, and Starigrad Paklenica in Croatia.
While most of my experience has been freelance, I’ve also worked with companies such as CE Photo, where I photographed a wide range of sports — from waterskiing to tennis — at a Neilson Resort near Zadar, Croatia.
In September 2025, I will begin studying Photography at Edinburgh Napier University. Through this, I aim to further develop my skills, expand my portfolio, and connect with fellow creatives in the industry.
Looking ahead, my goal is to find more work that allows me to travel and document new cultures, landscapes, and human experiences through my lens.
